Finite Element Analysis services

Finite Element Analysis (FEA) used to be performed solely to determine the strength and functionality of completed component and product designs. It was used by people or departments working separately from designer engineers.

The use of FEA analysis services have a particular value to designers due to the size and complexity of the systems they are developing, FEA analysis services can identify design issues that may elude a designer's review simply because of the dynamic nature of machinery's many moving parts.

Thermal finite element analysis, nonlinear finite element analysis, flow dynamics are a grate value for Product Designers who  are in need to evaluate the designs early in the design cycle, determine causes of premature failures in the field, quickly explore designs changes aimed at reducing cost and weight, and determine the product's factor of safety. One of the primary benefits of utilizing analysis up-front in the design cycle is the ability to test multiple design options while still in the initial concept phase.

Our Finite Element Analysis services are to help Product Designers to determine:
• Explore Multiple Design Options
• Reduce Physical Prototypes
• Optimize Design Performance FEA

Strength of materials deals with the relations between the external forces applied to elastic bodies and the resulting deformations and stresses. In the design of structures and machines, the application of the principles of strength of materials is necessary if satisfactory materials are to be utilized and adequate proportions obtained to resist functional forces.

Forces are produced by the action of gravity, by accelerations and impacts of moving parts, by gasses and fluids under pressure, by the transmission of mechanical power, etc. In order to analyze the stresses and deflections of a body, the magnitudes, directions and points of application of forces acting on the body must be known. The time element in the application of a force on a body is an important consideration. Thus a force may be static or change so slowly that its maximum value can be treated as if it were static; it may be suddenly applied, as with an impact; or it may have a repetitive or cyclic behavior.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is another service we provide and it that can be of great assistance in solving such problems. Very often, however, CFD programs are very complex and difficult to use, especially by design engineers who have not had a great deal of advanced education in the physics of fluid flows.

Structural analysis can be an extremely valuable process in manufacturing scenarios where cost, material, weight, etc., need to be optimized or where safety factors need to be determined. In addition, it can be used by product designers to analyze which design variables influence the performance of the product, and how they influence it.
